Discover Assateague w Mermaid Tasha

Meet a local mermaid right on the shores of Assateague Island! Plenty of opportunities for pictures to remember the time you saw a real mermaid on your trip to the beach! Mermaid Tasha will also tell you about the marine life off the coast of the island, including the namesake fish of her tail, the marlin! If you're lucky, you'll even see some of the wild horses that roam Assateague Island while learning about how they ended up on the island in the first place. 

We'll meet on Assateague Island where the Assateague Ponies roam so Mermaid Tasha can easily swim ashore. Assateague has beach access on both the ocean and bay sides of the island, so while the ocean side is a more common meeting point, the bay side is also a wonderful spot to learn about nature from a mermaid.
